Honoring our Graduating Library Assistants

Each year, in appreciation for their hard work and service to the community, Gould library honors our graduating student workers by adding a commemorative book plate to a volume of their choosing. Under normal circumstances, the books they select are displayed in the lobby of the library and made available for the community to check out.
This year, we will continue to plate the books, but in lieu of a physical display, we’ve compiled this list. Here you will learn which books our seniors have chosen, along with  brief description of why the book is meaningful to them, and a few of their thoughts on working in the library.
We are so sorry not to be able to thank them in person this year, but are so grateful for everything each of these individuals has contributed to the library! We look forward to keeping in touch, welcoming them back at reunions, and watching the ways in which they bring their dedication, skills and experience to the world beyond Carleton’s campus.
Thank you, class of 2020! We wish you all the very best, including many many years of happy reading.
