Publishing Partnerships for Carleton Authors
Gould Library has partnered with the following publishers so that Carleton affiliated authors can publish Open Access with no or discounted Article Processing Charges (APC).
- Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Transformative Open Access AgreementCarleton corresponding authors can publish open access in ACM journals without paying APCs under a three year agreement with ACM (2023-2026).
- Cambridge University Press (CUP) Read and Publish AgreementCarleton affiliated authors can publish their articles Open Access at no cost in eligible journals under a three year agreement with CUP (January 1, 2023 --December 31, 2025).
- MDPICarleton affiliated authors receive a 10% discount on MDPI article processing charges.
- Open Library of Humanitiesprovides open access to peer-reviewed articles in the humanities with no article processing charges for authors.
- PLOSGould Library and PLOS have partnered to cover Carleton affiliated authors' publishing costs through the end of 2025. Our partnership with PLOS means you will pay no fees when you publish Open Access in any of the 13 PLOS journals.
