Books and articles in anthropology not only rely on the data and observations gathered during fieldwork; authors also use publication as an opportunity to reflect upon the experience of fieldwork. You can uncover these writings with appropriate keywords ("reflections" and "fieldwork" are a good start) in places like the database Anthrosource or on the library's catalogue, Catalyst. You can also browse for "Perspective Articles" from the Annual Review of Anthropology.

To search a subject heading, select Advanced Search on the library's homepage, then change the first drop down menu to Subject and enter your terms:
