Cryptozoology, as defined by Merriam-Webster Online, is "the study of and search for animals and especially legendary animals (as Sasquatch) usually in order to evaluate the possibility of their existence."

Eric Hillemann (Archives) and Mary Savina (Geology) are leading an alumni adventure tour to Antarctica. Carleton alum and cryptozoology researcher Monica Reyes-Doggett will be on a team of naturalists lecturing on local wildlife.
