Save, organize, share, and cite your sources -- anything from scholarship to YouTube videos. Our guide has Carleton-specific instructions for installing and using Zotero with personal and lab computers, and for getting the most storage space possible.
If you need a citation style that isn't included in Zotero by default, you can download it from their full Styles Repository. (1) Make sure Zotero is open (2) Click the link to the style (3) Click "OK" in the popup to add the citation style to Zotero. It should be added automatically!
In this class, your sources should be cited using the citation style of the Journal of Experimental Biology. Click the link above to view the journals guidelines for formatting your in-text citations and references list.
Looking at recent articles published in the Journal of Experimental Biology is one of the best ways to compare your citations to those appearing in the journal whose style you're using.
