Printing at Carleton (exclusive Ole edition)
Visiting Oles cannot use their Ole Cards to print with the PaperCut system. Instead, there are two options available to you:
- Send your print jobs to St. Olaf's Webprint and then collect them when you return to campus
- Ask at Carleton's Research/IT or Circulation Desk for a guest printing card.
- Printing: Instructions for Guests (ITS)Visitors to the college, including St. Olaf faculty, staff, and students, may borrow a Guest card to print. These are available at the Library service desks and at the ITS Helpdesk.
eResources: They're Probably Why You're Here
Electronic resources like ebooks, reference databases, and streaming video can be used by guests on campus (with some limitations). As members of the Bridge Consortium, you are welcome to visit campus and use these resources for your coursework and research.
To access our electronic collections, click the "Databases" link on the library's website.
Please note, our license agreements allow visitors to use our electronic collections while on our campus. We cannot offer off-campus access to Oles.

Resource Sharing (ILL - Interlibrary Loan)
When doing research on the Carleton campus, you may encounter links that go directly to Carleton's ILL system where you would normally be led to St. Olaf's system if you were there. Alas, though the system can know where you are it cannot know who you are. If you put in ILL requests while working here, make sure you log into St. Olaf's Resource Sharing (ILL) system, not Carleton's.
