You will find contemporary reviews for movies in major US newspapers as well as news articles on movies and the movie industry. To search for reviews only, do you search and then click on the "Document type" link under "Narrow results" on the right-hand side. Click "Review" and your search results will be filtered to show only reviews.
Includes full text archives of many film publications such as Sight and Sound and Film Comment that include reviews. Enter "Review" as "Article Type" when searching to limit to reviews.
