Two Kinds of Access

Complete microdata can be downloaded for use in statistical software (files are prepared in SPSS, Stata, and SAS formats) in the sections on this page.

Or, just use the "online analysis" tool to view question texts and frequencies (e.g., for each country in 2009, what percentage of respondents supported a military government) from the years 1995-2011.

Online Analysis

Date range: 1995-2011
What: View question texts, frequencies for each answer, and crosstabs of each question by country (or any other variable)
Example: for each country in 2009, what percentage of respondents supported a military government?
Who can access: the general public

Download Annual Datasets

Date range: 1995-2011
What: complete datasets for each year, downloadable for use with statistical software (SPSS, Stata, and SAS formats)
Who can access: Current members of the Carleton community can access all years from computers on campus or logged into the proxy server. Earlier years are available to the general public.
