Finding legally reusable images

ANYTHING THAT SOMEONE ELSE CREATED, THEY OWN. Below are options for finding images you can legally reuse.

  • Look for images marked "Creative Commons", or marked for "Reuse". Pay attention to whether it needs ATTRIBUTION! AND THEN ATTRIBUTE!

  • Even in the case of the "educational purposes," publishing images to the web for which you do not have permission violates licenses and/or copyright agreements

  • Verify all images you include to make sure they are available for public use.

  • If it is not marked as Creative Commons, YOU MUST ASK PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL CREATOR!
