When citing material in Spanish, MLA style for Spanish is the same as regular MLA style in English except that you need to remember to follow Spanish rules for book and article titles.
MLA Eighth Edition recommends a general set of guidelines that can be applied to all sources (book, journal article, media, web page) when generating citations for a works cited/bibliography. For example, this is the information needed for each source consulted, provided the information is available about the source.
Please note that even though a city or country of publication is not necessarily required by MLA 8th edition, it is advisable to include it since you may be citing books that were published outside the United States, for which publication information might not be evident or easy to find otherwise.

There are a number of things to keep in mind while citing:
Formatting is very important.
1. Hanging indents in the Works Cited page.
2. Double spacing throughout text, including the Works Cited page and block quotes.
3. More than one work by same author in Works Cited page? Use -------. instead of repeating author name.
