Content Analysis

Researchers sometimes use news indexes like Nexis Uni and then content analysis tools to measure for events and trends (sometimes called "content analysis").  Or researchers measure how frequently words appear in text like books using Google's N-Grams. Some of these projects below provide a broad sweep of examples of research projects coding networks or media or are tools to enable this approach.
