Multicultural Alumni Network (MCAN)

1989 - Present

In 1989, interest began to grow in forming a network of multicultural alumni based around the classes of the later 1960s and 1970s. The Office of Multicultural Affairs partnered with Admissions and Alumni Relations to organize the network and provide events for alumni. After the group was officially established in 1989, a number of events were held on and off campus including “The Gathering”  or a reunion centered on multicultural alumni which were held on and off since 1989.
